Katherine is a warm and nurturing psychologist who partners with her clients through life’s many challenges. Over the past 14 years, she has become adept at trauma-focused approaches and enjoys helping adolescents and adults to stabilise and learn to carry their past, working from a neurophysiology and attachment perspective.

Professional Experience
As a private practitioner, Katherine has worked with adolescents and young people at Headspace, and with adults in community, hospital, and private practice settings.
She stays across the latest research in her field and is proficient in CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and has completed accreditation to treat clients with eating disorders using CBT-E. She is able to blend the treatment approaches depending on the style and needs of the client.
Katherine is accredited by SIRA to treat employees who have acquired a psychological injury in their workplace or through a motor vehicle accident (CTP).
Katherine welcomes people of all faiths (or none) to discuss the role that spiritual practices play in our healing. She loves practising yoga, mindfulness, and the Christian spiritual practice of contemplative prayer.
