Professional Experience
I bring a broad variety of knowledge and life experiences as I journey alongside my clients. Having arrived in Australia from South Korea at a young age, I have a heart for people of multicultural backgrounds, and appreciate the struggles inherent in immigration.
Prior to pursuing counselling studies, I worked for over 13 years as a solicitor. As a lawyer I went above and beyond to ensure that my clients not only had their commercial needs met, but also knew that as their lawyer I had their back.
My deeper desire is to be able to offer more of myself to my clients and pursue my calling as a counsellor. I am passionate in bringing all my resources, skills, heart and whole self to be with and support those that are seeking their own healing and growth.
Faith-based Experience
I have been involved with a faith community for nearly 40 years, allowing me to walk closely with fellow congregants, ministry students, lay workers and clergy through various trials of life and ministry work. Within this context, I have cared for the wellbeing of women, youth and children across the life span and of a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.
