Marriage and Relationship Counselling

Marriage counselling is very different from individual counselling. In our experience, couples counselling is highly effective and life changing.

A well qualified and objective couples counsellor will help you to:

  • unpack and work through the complexities of your struggles in a safe and constructive way
  • understand, manage and express your deeper feelings
  • understand your partner
  • restructure your interactions so they are healthy and authentic
  • deal with your own individual issues
  • gain perspective and find new insights
  • find hope or resolution

As part of couples counselling, sometimes one or both partners may undertake their own individual therapy.

We also offer premarital counselling, which is a preparation for marriage focused on:

  • education
  • communication
  • better understanding your partner and yourself
  • better understanding differences in expectations and background
