Profession Experience
I have been a Registered Psychologist for 19 years, practicing in Private Practice in South Africa and doing Employment Assistance Services in Australia.
Areas of Specialisation
I specialise in individual therapy and see children of all ages, adolescents and young adults. I also see adults and do family therapy.
In my training a vast area of different therapy orientations and all areas of psychology were covered:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Stress management
- Trauma-divorce, abuse
- Grief and Bereavement
- Addictions
- Eating disorders
- Separation anxiety
- Self-esteem
I also deal with anger management, communication problems, conflict management, abuse, issues surrounding separation and divorce, and have worked with step families as well.
How I approach counselling and psychotherapy
Clients will receive professional and competent service and be treated with respect. Confidentiality and privacy will be maintained at all times.

Professional Training and Supervision
I receive on-going professional training each year and am supported by supervision on a regular basis to maintain my ethical and professional standards.
Fees
My fee is $150 per hour.
If you are referred by a GP under a Mental Health Care Plan, then you are eligible for a Medicare rebate. Concessions may be available if there are financial difficulties. |
