My special interest is marriage and family counselling, no matter how complex, and integrating this with appropriate individual therapy.
I have been professionally counselling for 16 years, and offer clinical supervision. I am the Lead Counsellor and Director at Bridges Counselling.

How I approach counselling and psychotherapy
My approach to counselling consists of:
- truly valuing and understanding my client's struggles
- helping clients process emotional experience safely
- leading to emotional relief, new perspectives and strategies, and finally empowerment
I accomplish this largely through an Emotionally Focused psychotherapy model, informed by a broad background in counselling and psychological theory.
Clients will receive professional and competent service, and be treated with respect. Confidentiality and privacy will be maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Counselling
- Bachelor of Counselling
- Diploma of Christian Counselling
- Graduate Certificate in Emotionally Focused Therapy (Candidate)
Professional Memberships
- PACFA Registered at Clinical level
- Clinical Member and Registered Supervisor - CCAA (Christian Counsellors Association of Australia)
- President of CCAA (NSW)
Professional Training and Supervision
I receive on-going professional training each year and am supported by supervision on a regular basis to maintain my ethical and professional standards.
Fees
Sliding scale $120-150/hour, based on gross family income.
